The Imaginary Word
May 2006
Welcome to the May 2006 edition of the Imaginary Word! I am glad to bring you my suggested reading list in the form I have become accustomed to. It seems that it's taken me a full five months to adjust to my pregnancy but, with the assistance of an iron supplement and a cooperative kickboxing baby, I will actually be able to do this right - at least until August. I hope you enjoy your reading and wandering this month. I certainly have.
Don't forget to stop by the IW Forums - discuss what you are reading online and get to know your fellow readers.
Also - I was curious a bit so I set up a Frappr for the IW. If you happen to feel the urge - pop in and log your location.
This being May, I am going to start asking for help for August and September. Stop by theForum - give me your suggestions as to what I should do or indicate your interest in perhaps taking over my pet project for a month.
Enough of my ramblings. On to the real heart of the Imaginary Word - the suggested reading list for the month of May.
Enjoy! I really am glad to be back!

"You should have seen the way they cried out for blood. I frequent the boards at a popular SF&F magazine, and the occasional spam left by self-published authors trying to sell their books always provoked drastic responses. For me, it signaled a sparsity of opportunities for independant writers to market their books. Totally Novel is trying to change that." - Wade Ogletree, Founder of Totally Novel.
