The Imaginary Word
July 2006
I almost can't believe that it has been an entire year! So, first things first - Happy Birthday Imaginary Word!! A year ago this month, the Imaginary Word began and, though it's look has changed, I hope I've kept it's purpose. This is something I truly enjoy doing. I love to read and I love to write and I love to give other writers the exposure they deserve for the work they do.
Next month may be a bit different. I really don't expect that I'll be able to pull together and Imaginary Word with a new baby and a stay in the hospital. My due date is the 15th but we'll most likely be in surgery on the 9th. I'm certainly looking forward to it and my son is getting anxious for his baby brother to get here. I really hope that those of you who do read this, who read ezines on a regular basis will do me a huge favor - if you happen to read something great - post in the forum, allow others to see what gems you find as well.
I hope you like the new look here - I had some wonderful help putting it together (thanks so much Domy!!) and I'll be back in September.

Sun like a snake? Given that I have an affinity for reptiles and also a love of neat facts, I thought I would pass this along.

"You should have seen the way they cried out for blood. I frequent the boards at a popular SF&F magazine, and the occasional spam left by self-published authors trying to sell their books always provoked drastic responses. For me, it signaled a sparsity of opportunities for independant writers to market their books. Totally Novel is trying to change that." - Wade Ogletree, Founder of Totally Novel.
